The dictionary defines the adjective “kinetic” as “pertaining to or imparting motion.” With that in mind, the word certainly fits Kinetic Underground Inc., a company involved in global intellectual property licensing, production and design for films, comic publishing, toys and much more.
Kinetic Underground, Inc. is a Orlando-based visual entertainment and licensing corporation. It concentrates on developing global brands and licensing intellectual properties. In just a few years Kinetic Underground has established itself as one of the most sought-after licensing and graphic boutiques, working with established companies such as Hasbro, Capcom, Bandai/Namco, Sesame Workshop, Art Asylum and Abrams/Gentile Entertainment.

Walt Disney and David Forrest not only share the same birthday but also a common philosophy to do things creatively and in an electrifying new way. David Forrest has over ten years of experience as an artist, designer, licensor, and marketer at the highest levels of the consumer product and entertainment industry. His work can be seen in such brand names as Star Wars, Sesame Street, KISS, Disney and The Micronauts.
David received his education at The School of Visual Arts in New York City and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. David’s experience at the Art Asylum gave him valuable insight into the market, the products, and customers’ needs and desires. After leaving Art Asylum, David co-developed numerous properties and toys and re-imagined successful classic brands including Sesame Workshop’s Extreme Muppets character line, The Micronauts, Shining Stars and the extremely profitable Sky Dancers and Dragon Flyz properties with Abrams and Gentile Entertainment.
David has worked internationally on Japanese properties such as Robotech with Toynami, and other international franchises with X-Plus Co Ltd., which are famous for Godzilla and their Universal Monsters toys and collectibles. This experience has provided useful business and professional contacts within the toy and entertainment industry that David is currently leveraging. After years of developing products and properties for other companies, David used his skills, business contacts, and industry experience to launch Kinetic Underground in 2001
